These are figs wrapped in parma ham with sauteed shallots and stem ginger that I cooked for John’s dinner. His car was not ready for collection and he will get it tomorrow.

John’s new Land Rover is coming tomorrow. I have to take him to collect it – I am not looking forward to this as the garage is in a very busy part of the town and parking is difficult!
