Harry Potter Tonks Sock Yarn

I am in a rush as we are going out to eat tonight rather than tomorrow as there is a cricket match on TV tomorrow night which John wants to watch.
All eight shades of the Harry Potter sock yarn came and is in my store. I have also rounded up lots of odd balls of Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk DK and put them in the Special Offers department.  Don’t forget I am starting the Christmas competition tomorrow!
Now I must dash as I have ironing to do , nails to paint and hair to wash! Back tomorrow.

Kim Hargreaves Amber

 Amber has arrived at last and it was worth the wait – the designs are to die for!!  If you only buy one book for Winter patterns, this is the one to go for.

The Harry Potter sock yarn and the Hundertwasse 2 series will be here tomorrow together with some new Lucy Neatby DVDs.  And Studio 13 is due any day too!  Funny how everything comes at once.

I am writing this earlier than usual as I have to do some baking. John wants two game pies to take shooting next week and so I need to get all the game jointed and cooked ready to put in the pies.  I expect I shall have a black helper by my side!!  Slip is going to update her blog today – she has been a bad dog again!  Back tomorrow.

Patterns for the fuller figure!

Today I have put a range of patterns for the fuller figure in my store.  They go from UK  size 16 – size 24 – this is from 42″ -51″ bust. They are very nice and not stuffy or old fashioned.

As I said yesterday, a Rowan yarn is being discontinued in Februrary.  I am not allowed to say which one. It might be one on the list below or it might be none of those but something else.  If you email me with your guess and you are correct I will enter you in a drawing for a pack of the yarn in your choice of color.   Here are some suggestions:

Harry Potter Sock yarn

Here is a preview of the Harry Potter sock yarn.  I am hoping that it will arrive this week. Today I received several shades of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino that had been out of stock, also Noro Silk Garden Chunky in shade #05 which I was out of stock of and a new shade of Debbie Bliss Luxury Tweed, #15.  The Luxury Tweed has been delayed and we are still waiting for some colors.

I have put all my Colinette Lassoon sale at $8 a skein – it is discontinued and so no point in my hanging onto it! Talking of discontinuations, I have discovered that a whole Rowan range is being discontinued  – I was suprized as I did not think it would ever be discontinued. I will post a list of possible yarns here tomorrow and all of you that select the correct one will be entered into a drawing for 3 balls of KSH in Daffodil.

My Veronica jacket is progressing without any hiccups – so far!   Rusty has had dreadful hiccups nearly all day – Slip keeps looking round to see what the noise is.  Now I am going to knit and have a glass of wine – back tomorrow.

I started Veronica last night – I am not 100% sure about the color but perhaps it will grow on me. The jacket has a vent in the center back and so the two halves of the back are knitted separately to the top of the vent and then combined.  I like Rowan 4 ply soft very much  – not like that dreadful Kidsilk Haze!

I am expecting the Harry Potter sock yarn this week. There are eight shades and it is going to be in short supply as it is a limited edition and very sought after.  Also coming is Opal’s Hundertwasser Series 2.   Here is a picture of a poster showing the shades.   Back tomorrow!
